Argentina is a long South American country situated between the Andes mountain range in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east and south. The climate varies from subtropical in the north, to mild and humid in the Pampas plains, and to sub-Antarctic in southern Patagonia. There are plenty of unspoiled natural wonders to marvel at in this beautiful country. See the astonishing Iguazú Falls, the breathtaking Ischigualasto (Moon Valley), the quaint towns of the Pampas and Patagonia’s glaciers, blue lakes and green valleys. The contrasting landscapes of Argentina offer visitors an array of outdoor activities: trekking, mountain-biking, mountaineering, white-water rafting, canoeing, hydro-speeding, hang-gliding, paragliding, cart-sailing, windsurfing, sport fishing, relaxing in thermal spas, and driving 4WD vehicles through challenging terrain. The options seem limitless and the scenery surreal. Buenos Aires, the capital, is probably the most European city in South America - a great place for fine dining, flamenco dancing and strolling through open air markets. Argentina is definitely an amazing place for a honeymoon full of adventure.
