Grenada

Grenada is an island in the southeastern Caribbean Sea north of Trinidad and Tobago and south of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The “Spice Isle” is a tropical island getaway with old Caribbean ambience. Goats and cows graze roadside, laidback restaurants serve native cuisine, craftsmen wait for passers by to purchase their wares and natives play music that infects you with the Caribbean passion for good times. Grenada’s scenery is amazing. Its rainforest hosts mona monkeys and rare birds. The countryside boasts fields of banana, cocoa, breadfruit and nutmeg trees as well as cool mountaintops, waterfalls and volcanic crater lakes. Grenada and its sister islands have more than 40 beautiful beaches with crystal-clear waters and coral reefs. Several resorts line the two-mile-long Grand Anse beach on Grenada's southwest coast. Tourists find plenty to do here and in the cities of St. George and Grenville. Grenada offers honeymooners a laidback Caribbean vacation with modern amenities.
