Malta

Malta is an archipelago made up of seven islands located in the Mediterranean Sea about 55 miles / 95 kilometers south of Sicily, Italy. These islands have become a popular tourist destination due to the tropical climate, numerous pristine beaches, exciting nightlife and interesting history dating back thousands of years. The countryside of the Maltese islands is dotted with some of the oldest known human structures in the world. The winding cobblestone streets of its quaint towns with amazing architecture including Renaissance cathedrals and Baroque palaces are a sight to see. The Mediterranean culture apparent on these islands with its folk traditions in music and crafts such as handmade lace and fabrics and blown glass make it impossible for visitors to miss out on the distinctive flair of Malta.
